Revered as a beacon of peace, Zambia is a Southern African landlocked nation, bordered by eight neighbouring countries. With a population of about 17.91 million inhabitants, Zambia has an estimated GDP of USD 26.72 billion2. The country previously dominated by the copper mining industry has made great strides in diversifying the economy, and its chief exports include agricultural products, electricity, tobacco, flowers and cotton.
