EVENT REGISTRATION & CALL FOR SESSION PROPOSALS!

The 2024 Lusaka Internet Meet-Up will be held at Lusaka’s Taj Pamodzi Hotel on July 18 and 19 2024 under the theme, “Leveraging Zambia’s digitalization agenda in the age of Artificial Intelligence”. The following are the 2024 sub-themes;
1. Infrastructure and Connectivity
2. Digital Rights and Inclusion
3. Cybersecurity and Data Protection
4. Technology and Electronic Services
5. Emerging Technologies and Artificial Intelligence
Registration is now open for partners and interested stakeholders to participate and submit session proposals based on the themes highlighted above. The sessions can be in form of panel discussions, workshops, presentations, fireside-chats, exhibitions, demonstrations and other creative alternatives. The deadline to submit session proposals is June 30, 2024.

The event, organized by Bloggers of Zambia aimed to foster dialogue on discussing and shaping digitalisation issues such as internet accessibility, privacy and data protection, freedom of expression, cybersecurity and the implications of emerging technologies on human rights.
