The President will address the progress made in the Application of National Values and Principles to Parliament.

Vice President of the Republic of Zambia who is the leader of government business in Parliament, Her Honor W.K. Mutale Nalumango, announced on Friday, February 21, 2025, that she will on Thursday, February 27, 2025, move a mottion to suspend relevant standing orders relating to the Vice President’s question time and suspension of business at 10:45am to allow the President of the Republic of Zambia Mr Hakainde Hichilema to address the house.

The President of the Republic of Zambia Mr Hakainde Hichilema will address Parliament on the progress made in the Application of National Values and Principles on Friday, February 28, 2025. The address is scheduled to be done at 10hrs from the Parliament Building and will be televised live.

After the Presidential address, the House will follow a mottion of Thanks to the Presidential Address which will commence on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, and will continue for 10 seating days up to Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
