The launch of the State of Digital Rights Report Zambia 2026, highlights how Zambia’s digital space is shaping rights, freedoms, and the economy.
The report tracks key developments in digital and technology policy in 2025 and is part of an annual in country initiative launched in 2019.
This was produced through desk research and expert interviews, with support from the British Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) through Diakonia Zambia.
This is a key moment for dialogue on digital rights, internet governance, and technology’s role in Zambia’s democratic and economic future.
