Bloggers of Zambia is an independent, non-profit organisation and our thematic areas of work; Digital Rights, Press Freedom, Civic Tech and Media and Information Literacy.
We are inviting applications from highly creative and talented candidates for the post of Communications and Advocacy Officer for Bloggers of Zambia (BloggersZM).

I have had the privilege to write and perform poetry pieces for your organization on the access to information bill, digital rights and Advocacy online for your organization The Bloggers of Zambia. I have have also written and perfomed poetry pieces on Debt transparency and accountability for the ongoing My Zambian poetry contest that is organized by the Center for Trade Policy and Development, I’m among the final 5 contestants that made to the next round. I also had the privilege of winning the bittersweet poetry slam last year. I believe creativity makes me a good fit for the position.

Greetings, maila pride here a 27 year old graduate from the University of zambia passionate about the media and advocacy having studied Bachelor of arts with education civic education major and worked in the media industry from 2014 as media scholar at chikuni Community Radio station, presenter for caritas and the community while at Unza and now volunteer at voice of Kalomo community radio station.

A very passionate about advocacy having been mentored not only as a civic educator but been trained by other organizations while working in the media such as internews, Misa Zambia and Panos. Hence the knowledge and skills obtained will highly be useful for this job.

Iam a 27 year graduate from the University of zambia with a bachelor of Arts with education civic education major and history minor who has worked in the media beggining 2014 at Chikuni community radio station as a media scholar. During my studies despite persuing a teaching degree continued to present caritas and the community radio program at unza radio and after graduation worked with sky fm in 2020 and currently volunteering with Voice of Kalomo community radio station from 2020 July.
